When it comes to application, we recommend 1 to 2 coats when brush painting and 2 to 3 coats when using an airbrush.
To achieve different finishes, simply add 5 to 10% of Flat Base for a semi-glossy effect or 10 to 20% for a matte finish. The possibilities are endless! Our advanced technology ensures brighter color development, excellent hiding force, and a stronger coating. With our new product, Mr.
COLOR GX, we have taken it a step further by completely eliminating "toluene" from the formula. This means you can mix it with existing Mr. Color paints on the market and use Mr.
Color Thinner for dilution or Leveling Thinner. The Aqueous Hobby Color paint, another gem from GSI Creos, offers even more versatility. It can be diluted with water if desired, and paint brushes can be easily cleaned with water before the paint dries. The mild solvent in Aqueous Hobby Color provides a glossy texture and exceptional leveling qualities, resulting in a superior finish.
To adjust the gloss level, simply mix approximately 5% of H-40 Flat Base for a matte finish or 5 to 10% for a semi-gloss finish. When brush painting, we recommend 1 to 2 coats, while airbrushing will require 2 to 3 coats. If you're painting a light color over a darker base, additional coats may be necessary to achieve the desired effect.
