This solution is primarily a softening solution that helps the decal conform to the surface it is applied to, giving it a realistic appearance. One of the key advantages of Micro Sol is that it works well with Tamiya acrylic paint and Mr. Topcoat. Users brushed a few coats of the setting solution over their decals on Tamiya acrylics and found that it made a significant difference in making the decal appear painted onto the rough or detailed surface of the model. The application process involves brushing a little solution on the model where the decal will be placed, then carefully patting down the wet decal with a wet brush.
