The air-flow is around the same as slow-to-medium computer case fans. The fan moves a good amount of air without producing noise at all. The only sound from the fan is the sound of moving air. One of the downsides is that it is not suitable for those who seek a fan sound to sleep by, as it is quiet for that use. The opposite side is the fan's air intake side.
