The guitar is well-made, with fret dot markings on the side of the neck at 5, 7, 9, and 12 frets. It is well-packed and protected during shipping by Calido Guitars. According to one customer, the guitar has good bass, bright highs, and a mellower sound suitable for intermediate level players. However, others have had issues with the quality of the guitar. One customer complained about an excessive hump at the end of the bridge, while another found chipping or damage on the bottom of the guitar. A third customer returned the guitar due to a big crack next to the sound hole. Overall, the Cordoba C7 CD is a great guitar with excellent sound, appearance, and workmanship. However, there have been some quality control issues reported by a few customers.
