It is capable of running on a Honda 2000 watt generator, and it is designed specifically to work with lithium iron phosphate chemistry. Although the manual is a bit confusing, the converter is equipped with a Remote Shutdown Module interface that works with a BMS to shut off the charger when the battery is full. However, users cannot adjust the output voltage from the fixed 14.6V. The product adds nothing to a solar setup, but it can be used for replacement in a camper with lithium batteries. It is capable of working with 170Ahr lithium batteries, but it is only compatible with 12V systems unless a step-up converter is used.
