It is not difficult to change the high and low beam bulbs as there is an access port in the wheel well to get to the bulbs. However, one customer reported that the company refused to sell replacement bulbs. Another customer reported scaled lenses and had to pay to get new bulbs installed two years later, indicating durability issues. One buyer couldn't bolt them in correctly to their 2009 Fusion, but once installed, they were night and bright. Another buyer had to adjust the headlights once installed. Overall, the AKKON headlights look great, and they work and look like new. Reviewers generally recommend them as an upgrade or replacement, subject to some issues with fitment and durability.
