Department 56 Christmas Story Village Ralphie's House is a ceramic, heavy and well-crafted lit building that is roughly around 1/48th scale which should make it suitable for "O" gauge. It is 5 1/2 inches wide, 7 tall and 6 long. The house lights up from the inside, but the ornaments on the outside do not light. It includes a cord and light, although one reviewer opted to upgrade to a battery-powered LED light for coffee table display. It's a nice display for any Christmas movie fan. However, it's underwhelming for some customers because of the ornaments on the outside that are just for show.
