    répondre: Should be fine as long as you keep it sealed. I bought mine last year and used it through this spring.
  • question: What are the ingredients in this product? In particular, does it contain worm castings?

    répondre: The ingredients are: 70-80% Canadian Sphagnum peat moss and fine perite and an organic wetting agent (Yucca Extract). No mention of worm castings. I've used it and am very pleased with the results. It's very good for seedlings as it doesn't have bark, sticks,twigs etc. like almost everything out there.
  • question: I was given some 4” clones. they have roots coming out of their little germination pod. do i plant them in this mix or into the bg organic soil for?

    répondre: I would plant them in the organic soil. The seedling mix is meant for starting seeds.
  • question: Does this product qualify as organic?

    répondre: Yes. According to the description 'Listed by the organic materials review institute for the production of organic food and fiber.' Most of the ingredients are inert except for the sphagnum moss which I suspect is harvested from the wild.
  • question: Does this need to be sterilized before use?

    répondre: I did not sterilize. See my review from 03/07. Happy Planting!
  • question: Can I use this soil for succulents propagation too?

    répondre: I think so, I have some seeds that I'm going to use it with this spring.
  • question: Anybody know what the PH is out of the bag?

    répondre: I checked the bag but doesn't show that info. I really love me it for seed starting.
  • question: What are the 'other fine ingredients'? Any mycorrhiza in this?

    répondre: No mycorrhiza. It says all natural organic fertilizer and earth worm castings. Other ingredients like sphagnum peat moss, compost, and aged processed tree bark, vary depending on what state you live in. I’ve used many products from this brand and have always had good results.
