ProForm Distributors Editorial Review

Proform 66991 Electronic Conversion Distributor Kit is designed for retrofitting early mechanical and vacuum advance distributors with modern electronic ignition systems. Users appreciate its OEM compatibility, adjustable vacuum advance, and overall improvement in engine performance compared to lean burn setups. However, some users noted that the instructions could be clearer, particularly regarding wiring connections. One reviewer pointed out the snug fit of the plastic plugs on the harness, and another mentioned the need for longer wires in certain applications. Despite these minor issues, the kit is regarded as a valuable upgrade in the automotive industry.
