DEWALT Jobber Drill Bits Editorial Review
The DEWALT Drill Bit Set comes in a nice hard case and is said to be well made at first glance. However, the drill bit set requires a Jacobs-style chuck to be used and does not fit 1/4" impact drivers. The locking lug does not have enough holding power to hang onto the bit holder. The chamfer edge is easily caked up by wood, limiting its use in tight spaces. It is harder to flip, and the drill bit is more wobbly, making precise drilling difficult. The hex drill shaft is too thick to fit an impact driver. On the other hand, the tool is a great help for fast work, and its price is reasonable.
