This basic white sash style curtain rod is easy to install and seems fairly sturdy. It sits flush to the wall/door but the locking part is just a small metal tongue that puts pressure on the rod. It can hold heavier fabric curtains but only for the shorter length of the rod. The package does not come with instructions but it's easy to position the rod holders where you want them and slide the rod over these holders. The clips at the ends only hold on the large diameter rod end and the expandable rod extends and contracts freely, so the rod end slides right off the end clip, making it unstable. One customer received only one curtain rod instead of two. Overall, it seems durable and good quality, providing a tight fit for hanging cafe curtain tiers.
