The microphone also features an advanced humbucking coil, designed to reduce the pickup of electromagnetic (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI), as well as any hum or buzz from other equipment. A mid-boost circuit switch is included to give extra presence to vocal frequencies when engaged. Housed in a robust aluminum body, the Q9x comes with an integrated yoke mount, allowing it to be attached to a boom arm or desk stand. Inside, a shock mount isolates the capsule from mechanical noise that could be radiated through the body. An integrated dual-layer grille and removable foam windscreen work together to minimize annoying pops and plosives, ensuring clear, professional-sounding broadcasts and recordings.
