The touchless and Alexa features work once the handle is in the 'On' position. The pull-down sprayer includes a strong magnet that securely holds it in place. Users have reported experiencing the faucet turning off by itself after 4 minutes and occasional issues with the battery pack causing random starts and stops. Despite these limitations, the faucet can still be manually turned off and on when the batteries are dead. However, it's important to note that the deck plate for three-hole sinks doesn't come with the faucet and needs to be ordered separately.
