Sengled LED Bulbs E11-N1GW Editorial Review

The Sengled Zigbee Smart Bulbs are an excellent addition to any smart home setup. With built-in Alexa and Google Home voice control, these bulbs are easy to control using just your voice. They work with SmartThings and Echo, but a Zigbee Hub is required. They come in an amber warm 2000K soft white, which is great if you prefer a warmer tone. The bulbs can be scheduled using the Sengled Home app and can be used both indoors and outdoors (assuming they’re in range of the hub). One customer even used them as patio lights and found that they worked just fine. However, it's worth noting the instructions that come with the lights state for indoor use only. If you are looking for a switched setup with motion sensors, these may not be for you, but for simple motion sensor security lights that immediately integrate with hubitat, these are perfect. Some customers have experienced bulb failures, and a few have reported poor customer service from the manufacturer. The bulbs also seem to have some temperature resistance issues that are unclear from the FAQ. Although one customer reported using them in their ceiling fans and they performed well.
