répondre: The hand guard is just that. However, to activate the saw you have to press and hold a button before pulling the trigger. Releasing the button for any reason cuts power to the saw and applies an internal brake. -

répondre: The battery is specifically for the chainsaw. It is not the same as for other Bosch equipment. -

Can the stabilizing tip protector be removed?
répondre: You could drill out the two rivets using a bench press, but it is not recommended as the tip protector reduces the risk of kickback. -
