Answer: There is no spark- gap, just a open -end wire, you draw a spark when holding a metal (something) at a distance. High voltage, low energy...... -

Answer: Sound emitted is more like a old rotary telephone, you wont hear it like a regular cel phone speaker for example in today's standards. The effects are visible on a monitor for example at 10-15ft. No testing beyond that was done. -
