The Source Convertube kit allows users to convert a water bottle into a “camelbak” type system. It is an excellent solution for adventurers who have a fear of damaging their standard bladder or want a more convenient option. The product has been tested on multiple brands but unfortunately, it does not fit onto Yeti or rtic gallon jugs. The Convertube kit comes with everything as listed, and the hands-free system works well. The Helix valve replacement is noteworthy as it solved the problem where the Storm valve did not seal when drinking, causing water to flow back into the bottle. The Helix valve is easy to drink from and has plenty of flow. Additionally, the customer service provided by Source Tactical was helpful, and their response time was fast. The mouthpiece is similar to the old-fashioned bike bottles, which can leak if not seated correctly, and the hose can gather air, requiring the user to suck before every drink. One of the downsides is that the kit does not come with gaskets for all of the caps. It would also be great if the tubes were compatible with other brands. However, the product is pretty awesome, and it is a great solution for adventurers who have a fear of damaging their standard bladder or want a more convenient option.
