Ambient 2022-01-21 Editorial Review
Shortwave Memories is a captivating album that creates a multi-synth dreamscape ambient musical journey using analogue 1980s technology. The album presents a unique blend of deep, moving electronic sounds that take listeners on a reflective experience. Reviewers appreciate the sound quality and the intricate pads and analogue sequences that are further enhanced by its production under Biophon Records. While some listeners initially had reservations about its nostalgic synth sounds, many found that the album evolves, offering a more recognizable Biosphere vibe as it progresses. Overall, it balances a homage to the past with a contemporary feel that makes it an intriguing listen for ambient music lovers.
